My journey into osteopathy stems from a personal commitment to health optimisation and overcoming challenges related to gut and mental health. Experiencing firsthand the incredible impact of dedicated lifestyle changes, I’m passionate about sharing these insights and supporting others on their health journeys. Whether you’re dealing with sports-related injuries or just general soreness and or suffer with the usual wear and tear, I’m here to help. My goal is to empower my patients, creating a strong connection and guiding them towards better health, happiness, and well-being.
Growing up in the small community of Berrigan, near the New South Wales/Victoria border in Australia, I was raised with a deep-seated belief in the importance of making a positive impact on others’ lives. This upbringing fuelled my passion for pursuing a career in osteopathy, where I could truly make a difference in people’s health and well-being journeys.
Sports have been a huge part of my life from a young age. Whether it was football, basketball, or going to the gym for some strength training, I found joy in teamwork, discipline, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I’m a massive Australian Football fan and a huge supporter of Collingwood.
Music has always been a passion of mine and my taste encompasses a wide variety of genres.
Fuelled by a thirst for new experiences and a desire to experience all Europe has to offer, I am so excited to have the opportunity to work in Ireland. It’s not just about diving into a new work environment; it’s about immersing myself in a different culture, travelling and gaining a global perspective. This journey is all about embracing lifelong learning and facing new challenges head-on – qualities I bring to my osteopathic practice every day.
Educated in both structural and functional osteopathy at RMIT, I bring a variety of techniques to the table, from spinal manipulation, articulation of the joints, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue work / and everything in between. But beyond just treatments, I believe in taking a holistic approach, offering personalised care and comprehensive lifestyle advice tailored to each individual. I’m a firm believer that everyone has the power to achieve optimal health – sometimes, they just need a little nudge in the right direction.
I am extremely excited to join the Mallow, Blarney and Fermoy osteopathic team and meet many new people of all ages and ailments, and do my best to make positive changes in people’s lives in Cork and all the surrounding counties.
I was fortunate to study osteopathy at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. During the five-year full-time course, I developed in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills across a wide range of issues. I treat all sorts of issues, like headaches, back and neck pain, acute lower back pain, shoulder issues, sports-related injuries, osteoarthritis and general muscle soreness. Because I’m into sports myself, playing football, and basketball, and hitting the gym, I understand those kinds of injuries well and can relate to them on a personal level.
